Vinoè Aglianico del Beneventano IGP
Beneventano is an appellation in southern Italy, north-east of Naples and a short distance north of Avellino in the province of Campania. It's not far from Mount Vesuvius.
The king grape of the region is Aglianico (pronounced with a silent 'g') that is native to the region. Handpicked, warm ferment in steel and malo completed in oak barriques. Typical for this variety it's a full bodied and savoury dry red, The Vinoé Aglianico is deep purple, chock of black olive and dark fruit, brooding with rich, full, but ripe tannins.
