Rully is further south in the Cote Challonaise, and produces wines closer in style to the more famous Meursault. Fully barrel aged, this wine is more bold than the Chablis with a toasty and smoky twist, riper stone fruit and a creaminess but nowhere near the butterbomb style of Chardonnay.
Jaffelin is considered the smallest of the 'great' Burgundy houses, based in the middle of Beaune and crafting small volumes of wines across the Burgundy region.
