100% Tempranillo from vines with an average age of 55 years, fermented in steel and aged for 4 months in French and American oak. Lighter in style and super easy drinking.
Crimson with a hint of purple in colour, aromas of vanilla, sweet red and black berries and a whiff of green herbs with subtle balsamic notes. Soft and fruity on the palate, more fruity than spicy with light dry tannins.
Montebuena is a major co-op winery in the Alavesa sub-region of Rioja, making modern styles of Rioja from old and well established vineyards.
