Chianti from a Fattorio Montecchio - an old family winery in Tuscany between Florence and Siena.
This is their first tier Chianti, produced from a blend of 5 different small vineyards. It is a blend of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot. Lighter in style, with classical bitter cherry and savoury herbs and light drying tannins.
