Provence is World famous for pale, crisp and dry Rose wines, with eight major sub-regions. The most famous of these is "Cotes de Provence" that surrounds the more hilly inland vineyards of the 'Coteaux Varrois en Provence.' Sun baked countryside with varieties of different soils mean subtle variety in the different flavours in the wines.

Estandon Vignerons is a co-operative combining the efforts of several smaller family vineyards in the Provence region, both from the ‘Cotes de Provence’ and the ‘Coteaux Varois en Provence’ appellations. Provence rose is made from a blend of grapes that thrive in the hot dry summers in the stony limestone-clay soils around the Mediterranean coasts and hillsides.
