Great value "Right Bank" Bordeaux, smooth and easy drinking.  The 2016 vintage is considered a rockstar year for Bordeaux, and this one is no exception.

Produced from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon harvested from the loamy clay soils of the 'Entre Deux Mers' sub-region of Bordeaux, smooth fruit and oak rounding out an easy drinking style.

Nose of cherry, raspberry and blackberry, hints of vanilla.  Well rounded on the palate with supple savoury tannins.

Bordeaux makes mostly red wines, and is the ancestral home of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The sub regions are driven by soil types, those on the 'Left Bank' featuring bold Cabernet based blends from stony-gravel soils. The Right bank produces more supple Merlot based blends from clay & limestone. From easy drinking everyday wines to some of the most exclusive wines in the world.
