Amarone Pack
The three tiers of the classical Veronese reds. Each of the wines is made from the same core grape, Corvina being native to the hills of Valpolicella above Verona in Northern Italy. At its entry tier, the Bardolino is a light, fragrant, low alcohol red. The next step up is a Valpolicella Ripasso, the half-way wine to an Amarone with a smooth and fruity medium bodied red. Amarone is a special wine, where the grapes are dried for 3+ months to shrivel into semi-raisins, then fermented into a wonderfully complex and rich dry red wine.
