Bodegas Alikimia is a project started in 1982, growing primarily in Priorat and the surrounding Monsant region.  This wine comes from Olesa de Bonesvalls is a small mountain village located in the Alt Penedès wine region of Catalonia, Spain, set within the wild limestone terrain of the Garraf Massif just 30 to 45 minutes west of Barcelona.

This is a premium and small volume Garnacha Blanco, and in a distinctively unique oval shaped bottle.  "Golden-colored wine aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. It boasts fresh aromas of flowers, stone fruit, white fruit, and orange blossom on the nose, with a balanced acidity. This is a fresh-style wine with a distinctive texture and personality. It is characterized by great complexity, aromatic purity, and a very pleasant freshness. Excellent with fish and light meats. Limited to 1900 individually numbered bottles, each one is a small treasure.”
